Privacy policy
What this site collects, what it measures, and how to change your mind about any of it.
Effective September 8, 2026
The short version
Your privacy is important to us. It is The Summerhill Firm’s policy to respect your privacy regarding any information we may collect from you across this website and other sites we own and operate.
We only ask for personal information when we truly need it to provide a service to you. We collect it by fair and lawful means, with your knowledge and consent, and we tell you why we are collecting it and how it will be used.
We do not share personally identifying information publicly or with third parties, except when required to by law.
What you send us through this site
The consultation request form collects your name, email address, and the details you choose to type into it. Phone number, where you are in the process, and how you heard about Brooke are optional.
That submission is delivered to Brooke by email through Resend, our email delivery provider, and is not stored in a database on this website. Your email address is set as the reply address so she can respond to you directly.
We do not log the contents of your message. Our server records only a short reference code and whether delivery succeeded, so a failure can be diagnosed without reading what you wrote.
Please do not email sensitive documents
Email is not a secure channel. For statements, tax returns, or anything carrying an account number, use the firm’s secure upload link, which is provided by ShareFile and encrypts your files in transit.
Never send passwords, full account numbers, or government identification numbers through the form on this site.
What this site measures
This site uses two measurement tools: Vercel Web Analytics and Google Analytics. They count page views, referring sites, and how visitors move through the site. Google Analytics is provided by Google and sets cookies in your browser to do this. We do not use either tool for advertising.
There is no advertising pixel, no session recording, and no chat widget on this site.
Cookies and your choice
Strictly necessary cookies remember your light or dark theme preference and the choice you make about measurement. The site cannot work without them and they cannot be switched off.
Measurement is your choice. Where prior consent is required by law, nothing non-essential loads until you accept. Elsewhere, the approved default applies and you can switch measurement off at any time.
We honor the Global Privacy Control signal. If your browser sends one and you have not made an explicit choice here, measurement stays off.
You can change your decision whenever you like using the Cookie settings link in the footer of every page. Your choice is stored for 180 days, and if this policy changes materially we will ask again rather than carry an old answer forward.
Links to other sites
Our website links to external sites that we do not operate, including retailers, publications, and professional organizations. We have no control over their content or their practices and cannot accept responsibility for their privacy policies.
Your choices
You are free to refuse our request for your personal information, with the understanding that we may be unable to provide you with some of your desired services.
If you would like a copy of what we hold about you, or would like it deleted, write to us at the address below and we will handle it.
